Our Story
Our Doctor:
Dr. Jeff S Lee(License # 34381) graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Biology in West Lafayette, Indiana. While studying Bioinformatics engineering with a MS at Purdue University, he decided to study a totally different major, Chiropractic as his sick grandmother recovered very rapidly with Chiropractic care while he took care of her at home. He believed that Chiropractic would be effective for pain management without medicine. He started new study and received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Before taking over Cornerstone Chiropractic from Dr. Blackman, Dr. Lee worked at Choy Chiropractic in Pasadena, California. In Pasadena, he specialized in pain management including sports injury. He focused on practicing for patients with Active Release Technique called ART. He utilizes many different treatment techniques including ART, Cox, basic chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue mobilization, corrective exercises and rehabilitation. Also, he utilizes the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). Since he practices ART and MDT effectively, many physical therapists have referred their patients to him after finishing physical therapy session.

What is Vertebral Subluxation?
In simplest terms, a subluxation is when one or more of the bones of your spine move out of position and put pressure on spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling to and from the brain and the body. This reduces the life energy or “power” sent to your body. This reduced power could produce ill-health, weakness, or pain.
Specific Spinal Adjustments: Specific spinal adjustments get to the root of recurring subluxations. The focus of spinal adjustments is to reduce subluxations, restoring function and health to the body and brain. During your initial visit, Dr. Lee will analyze to see if there is subluxation, the level of subluxation, and present a thorough care plan, which could include specific spinal adjustments, follow-up exams and post x-rays detailing the improvement in your spine. The adjustments are gentle and painless.
Family Care: Family Care makes up the majority of our practice. Families of all ages who want to live at their maximum health by maintaining a healthy spine.
ART: Active Release Technique is a soft-tissue management system based on the principle that muscles, nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue develop adhesions within and between them after cumulative injuries. These adhesions cause the motion of muscles or joints to be altered, resulting in a wide variety of symptoms including pain, weakness, reduced range of motion, numbness and tingling.
McKenzie Method: The McKenzie Method is an assessment that uses the patient’s response to specific movements to treat musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions. It provides patients the ability to understand the causes of their discomfort and empowers them to be in control of their own symptom management.
The Graston Technique: The Graston Technique incorporates a patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and restrictions that affect normal function.
Prenatal and Pediatric Care: Vertebral subluxations can occur at any age, even at birth, and can result in devastating health effects. Dr. Lee has been adjusting children and babies, including their own families, for many years using an adjusting technique that is gentle, lasting, and loved by kids! The best part is that subluxation reduction for kids usually takes just a few adjustments — sometimes only one! Our patients observe that their kids who are raised with regular adjustments are much healthier and happier.
